Welcome back and first assignment

I am very excited to work with you all this year and hope you have a good first two days back and are ready to roll.

The first review packet was handed out today and the due-date for its completion is Monday 9-9-19.

The packet is worth 50 process points for completion and my guess is that it will take a couple of hours to do well.

Remember we will be quizzing on the material in this packet next weds/thur so take it seriously and shore up your weaknesses with limits over the course of the next week.  With these reviews you will get out of them what you put into them.

We will have our first mini AP problem on Monday the 16th which will be a 20 point product grade and for the first one will be 5 multiple choice questions.

We will be open during patriot time next week so if there are any questions make sure you stop by!!

Warm ups so far

Final

We have been given permission to do weds or thurs.  I would like to do weds and have it over with and not conflict with AP stats, but we will vote tomorrow.  Majority rules

AP Test Preperation

Ok we are almost there:

You should be working on your AP prediction packet nightly now to practice the topics you do not think you are very good at and get them o the acceptable level.  If you have any questions we are open during patriot times until the exam and Mr. Halstead will be at school on Saturday May 4 from 8-12 A.M.

You also have your giant formula sheet to be studying in preparation of the exam.  Make sure you know all your formulas and processes, the AP will not be providing you any information.

In addition we are handing out the benchmark 4 review topics on 5/6/19.  I will provide one sample question per topic with the answer but not all the worked out steps.  You are to prepare for the fourth benchmark accordingly.

Finally the fourth and final benchmark will be that week of 5/13 through 5/17.  When I get more info from the powers that be on the specific test date I will pass it along.  My best guess is that it will be 5/16 or 5/17 but that is a guess.

Prepare hard, I am very proud of you and know you will be ready!

Mr. Halstead
