AP Calc (BC) Quiz Guidelines

No calculator part (Tue 9/23/14  )

1.  2 or 3 plotting of polar points  (PG 678  #1-4)  ______________

2.  L’Hopitals Rule
     A)  2 or 3 indeterminate form 0/0 or infinity/infinity (could involve trig) (PG 530   #11,16,18,19,23,26)  _____________

     B)  1 indeterminate form infinity minus infinity (PG 530  #41-44) _____
    
3.  1 convert parametric eq. to rectangular equation  (PG 659 #3-10 last part of directions)  __________

4.  1 convert parametric equation using trig identity into ellipse or hyperbola and provide sketch (PG 659 #15,16,19,21,23) ____________

5.  1 graph parametric equation by hand   (PG 659 #3-10 first part of directions) ______________

6.  1 graph polar equation by hand (making a r, theta) chart might only graph it from 0 to pie to save time (PG 679 #59, 63, 72) _____________

5.  1 unit vector form operation problem  (Like last problem in notes before dot products) _______________

6.  1 graph parametric and 1 graph polar using calculator  (Given parametric or polar eq. sketch shape onto graph paper) ________________
