Week number two assignments and updates

Ok here we go on week 2 of the journey, miss seeing you guys and am proud of what you have been accomplishing online so far.

Step 1:  Watch the video and slides on Ratio and root test.  These are our final two tests for convergence/divergence of infinite series.  (party horns please, we are almost there, for the big calculus moment)

Step 2:  Do assigned problems on Ratio and Root test from your textbook.  Photograph your assignment and send it via e-mail back to Mr. Halstead by Thursday 4-9 at 4:00  P.M.

Assignment pg 594-595  #11, 17, 18, 19, 21, 27, 28, 33, 35, 37

Step 3:  Go to schoology and answer the discussion question under the Ratio and root test folder.  Just type your response.

Step 4:  Watch the video and slides on power series.  This is like the preseason for that amazing regular season opener.

Step 5:  Answer the discussion question on power series and complete the assignment on power series and
e-mail it back to Mr Halstead by the 14th Tuesday at 4:00.

Pg 613  #9, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 23, 25

Our next weeks assignment will come out on Wednesday the 15th since Monday of that week is a holiday day off.

Remember in addition to this make sure you read the grading e-mail we sent earlier and have turned in or made up the things required of you.

You should on your own be practicing AP questions from the prediction packet and logging some time on the AP reviews that the college board is running on you-tube.  It won't surprise us at all if those things they are reviewing on series appear on the Exam this year.  They should be starting the AP review lessons soon and stopping the teaching of the missing material.

As always if questions arise as you are doing these topics please e-mail me and I will reply at some point during school hours as quickly as we can.

Thanks,
Mr. Halstead
